Cheryl Morgan talks to Seanan McGuire in a hotel room in Melbourne, Australia.
Seanan McGuire lives in an semi-rural town in Northern California, along with two blue cats, several thousand books, and more horror movies than anyone strictly needs. Her 2010 books are A Local Habitation and An Artificial Night, both from DAW Books (October Daye #2 and #3) and Feed from Orbit Books. Her 2011 books are Late Eclipses and One Salt Sea, again from DAW (October Daye #4 and #5), and Deadline from Orbit Books. Her short fiction shows up in odd places, and often features high body counts. Seanan is the 2010 winner of the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer, and a nominee for the Romantic Times Science Fiction Novel of the Year, for Feed.
